Getting up early in the morning and rowing out onto the calm lake to cast a few before anyone knows you’re gone from the cabin. A slight mist rising from the trees along the shoreline. Golden leaves resting on top of the water. Fall is in the air. Memories drift through my mind of other days, other lakes, and good times.
